CVT Public Recycling Center

Utilizing the CVT Public Recycling Center is convenient and efficient, and available to all Orange County residents offering competitive prices for most recyclable materials. The Center features a computerized scale which provides certified weight accounting to assess payment, and the recycling process is expedited via clearly marked designated areas for a variety of materials. In addition, CVT personnel are on-hand to assist with large recycling loads. Current rates are available by CVT and may change without notice.

An alternative to the landfill, the CVT Public Disposal Center accepts all non-hazardous materials for disposal. Bulky items, yard or wood waste, and other cleanup items are accepted at the Center. Prior to disposal, all items are weighed via a computerized scale to ensure proper fees.

To maximize recycling, the CVT Public Disposal Center utilizes separate sections for non-recyclable wood waste and recyclable yard waste which can later be processed into mulch. The Center is fenced, paved and monitored by CVT employees to ensure a safe and efficient disposal

The Orange County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center is located at the CVT regional facilities. Operated in cooperation with the County of Orange and as a free service to all County residents, the Center accepts most common household toxic wastes, all of which are unacceptable at landfills. All waste must be in its original container and is limited to five gallons or 50 pounds of material per visit. Opened since 1990, the Center operates at hours convenient to the general public.
